With some of the freshest seafood and most eclectic cocktails, the Carolina Beach food scene has truly evolved over the last couple of years. The live music coupled with great food and beautiful scenery will have you feeling like every day is a vacation.

Whether a cold PBR, Spicy Margarita or frozen cocktail is more your style, Carolina Beach has the bar for you. From dive bars to exclusive craft cocktail bars, karaoke and waterfront views the bar scene is truly incredible. Some more charming than others, but all truly one of a kind.

Fish.

Some of the best fishing destinations in North Carolina is right here in Carolina Beach. With the artificial reefs and ledges close to the beach, Snows Cut and the Cape Fear River fish are always biting around here. You can launch your own boat or take a trip on one of the many fishing charter boats at the marina.

Surf.

No matter your skill level, Carolina Beach has some fun waves at different times of the year. With a ton of different beaches and breaks to choose from, you can choose which swell you want to paddle out for. Surfing is very popular on this part of the east coast so make sure to give your fellow surfers space when paddling out.

Golf.

Carolina Beach is centrally located to some of the nicest golf courses in Southeastern North Carolina. Take the ferry over to Southport and enjoy a round at the Oak Island Par 3 course or the Oak Island Golf Club. There are tons of options in Wilmington too if you’re feeling like taking the short drive over the Snows Cut bridge.

Explore.

You NEED to explore the Snows Cut Trail to Carolina Beach State Park. The park has access to North Carolina's best fishing spots, a secluded camping area beneath towering trees, and miles of trails. It is truly one of the most beautiful parts of Carolina Beach and it is never crowded.
